
Dr. Rovonda M. Bradford is the co-founder of Empowering the Lives of Inquiring Minds, Inc., and also serves as Board Chair. She has nearly 30 years of experience as a leader within civic, governmental, and non-profit organizations. Dr. Bradford is an educator and trainer and is proficient in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.

Jerry "Tacuma" Brown, Advisor to the Board
Mr. Brown serves as an advisor to the board of directors. He has years of experience in the civic and nonprofit organization sectors. In 2006, Mr. Brown launched his own 501(C)3 nonprofit venture in Atlanta West Development Corp. (AWDC, Inc.) to focus on community housing and development issues in West End Atlanta. He has also served within the Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU-T) from 1997 until the present.

Shaka B. Gore is a dedicated and experienced educator with 13 years of teaching expertise. As the founder and owner of a thriving tutorial center, Shaka has significantly impacted learners of all ages by providing enrichment and remediation services. With a solid academic foundation, Shaka holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Savannah State University, a Master’s degree in Chemistry from North Carolina A&T, and an Education Specialist (EDS) degree from Georgia Southern University. Shaka’s commitment to education and passion for helping students succeed is evident in their innovative approaches and personalized teaching methods, which make a lasting difference in her student’s lives.

Shana Wynn Rushing is an attorney with over 10 years of working experience in the areas of disability law, law and aging, and estate planning. She has a particular focus on retirement security for low-income older adults. Shana is also very passionate about helping students achieve goals for higher education. She has a deep appreciation for mentorship and sharing resources with students and their families.
